Alexandra Frances Conway, Born on Fourth of July

Attorney General Jack Conway and his wife Elizabeth today announced the birth of their daughter, Alexandra (Alex) Frances Conway. Alex was born on July 4 at 10:45 a.m. weighing 7 pounds 13 ounces and measuring 20 inches in length. She has a full head of hair and blue eyes.

“We are very blessed. I would like to thank all of our friends and family from across Kentucky who have kept our family in their thoughts and prayers,” General Conway said. “Elizabeth and Alex are both doing well. I am relieved and big sister Eva is in shock!”

Alex joins Eva in having a July birthday. Eva turns two later this month. Attorney General Conway celebrates his birthday today.

“I got my birthday present a day early,” General Conway said.

Alex’s middle name is a family name. Frances is her grandfather Tom Conway’s first name.
